. Time needed for completion of project

Rates for Translation
The cost of translation for a project is determined before the beginning of the project. We offer free and no obligation quotes for all types of translation projects. Our quotes contain a detailed pricing list that is based on the document type and language pair present. The rates may be identical across various projects or may differ depending on the requirements of the client. If the scope of the project is altered at any stage of the progress, we will consult with you and arrive at a mutually acceptable pricing that is appropriate.
At i Translation Zone, we apply the following criteria while fixing the prices for our projects.
. Number of professional and experienced native translators used
. Inclusion of a secondary translator for proofreading and editing of the translated work
. Inclusion of content manager and proofreader who specializes in the specific industry
. Management of files, projects, accounts, and
Translation prices and Fees per Source Word
The word count of the source document is the key factor that influences translation pricing. The source language is the language present in the original document, and the language in which the source language is translated into is called as target language.
In general when a document is translated from English to languages like Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and French, Hindi, Tamil, the word count in the target language would be over 20% than the source language. Howerver, All our charges are based on the source words only, so you will be able to get a precise estimate during the beginning of the project itself, instead of being based on the target words.
Project pricing is done in different methods. The number of pages or an hourly rate is usually the pricing standard that is present in the industry. But these are not accurate or favorable pricing methods. Since each document is different, the words in a page vary and so do the hourly rates. The speed depends on the translator's pace, so instead price calculated on the word count is the most reliable and transparent method that ensures a precise calculation.
The complexity of the source language can change the standard pricing rates. A business letter is less priced than a medical text, pharmaceuticals or legal contract document. The prices will vary accordingly.
Similarly, the language pairing also influences the rates. European languages cost less, while Asian languages are expensive because of their complicated characters and availability of limited linguistic resources.
Standard Pricing and Other Influencing Factors
We often take Clients' budgetary limitations into consideration for which we usually charge a nominal fee of USD 0.07 / INR 4.25 per word and the price never exceeds USD 0.12 / INR 7.50 per word and it starts from USD 0.04 per word / INR 1.25 per word for Indian languages if the volume of documents to be translated is huge. However, delivery time also influences the rates. When sufficient delivery time is available, we are able to use our resources in the best way and quote competitive prices for high volume projects. For short delivery time demands, the charges can go up to 50% higher than our standard pricing rates. While quoting prices, the time element is one of the first things discussed. In spite of the rush time, i Translation Zone translation does not compromise on the quality of the work. In case of faster delivery, we take the responsibility to complete the crucial documents first.
Editing and proofreading:
The prices for these are quoted separately in certain cases especially, if only the editing and proofreading needs to be done. Editing cost is 50% less than translating the whole text.
The standard pricing of a completely translated work includes editing and proofreading in addition to translation.
